ISO-TOP mounting pad according to ISO 5211
Suitable for the assembly of the hand lever as well as for stem extensions. In particular, the ability to automate the ball valves using pneumatic or electric actuators of all brands with compatible connections according to ISO 5211, as well as for accessories such as limit switches, etc., makes ball valves with ISO-Top versatile in application.
Antistatic Function
The ball valves of this series are equipped as standard with antistatic stems, which establish a permanent connection between the ball and the stem, as well as between the stem and the ball valve body.
This ensures that any occurring electrical charges are safely dissipated via the body. This safety feature is becoming increasingly important, especially for automated ball valves. The implementation of this function may vary depending on the type.
DIN - Face-to-face lengths
All ball valves in this series have a standardized face-to-face length (FTF) according to the standards:
- DIN EN 558-1 series 14 (current)
- DIN 3202 F4 (old)
This offers enormous advantages during the planning phase, as well as during pre-assembly or replacement in the event of damage.
Fire-Safe Design (Fire-Safe version optional)
All OPUS ball valves feature a fire-safe sealing edge, which provides a reliable metal-to-metal seal for the ball in the event of a fire.
For full functionality, pure PTFE must be used for the ball seats, which burns without residue in a fire. Likewise, FIRE-SAFE seals made of graphite (optionally available) must be used for body and stem seals.
