1.4435 with Delta Ferrite Restriction <1%
The body of these ball valves is made of 1.4435 stainless steel, manufactured with a Delta Ferrite restriction (content) of <1%.
This material, in combination with other features of this series, is specifically suitable for pharmaceutical, medical, and hygienic applications. The specification of this material is fundamental for meeting the requirements according to the "Basle Chemical Industry" (BCI) standards, known as "Basle Standard 2" (BN2).
Electropolishing and Internal Polishing Ra ≤0.8 µm
The ball valves and associated stainless steel cast hand levers are electro-polished; the flow paths are additionally mechanically polished to achieve a surface roughness (Ra) of ≤0.8 µm.
Orbital Welding Ends according to ASME BPE / DIN 11866 Series C
The welding ends of these valves are manufactured in terms of dimensions, material thickness, and shape according to the ASME BPE standard for all listed nominal sizes.
In addition, they are designed in a longer version for so-called orbital welding, which brings enormous advantages in quality, as well as speed and reproducibility of welding results in pipeline construction – and is already considered the standard procedure in the fields of application for these ball valves.
ISO-Top Mounting Flange
Due to the standardized mounting flange according to ISO 5211, any type of actuator with the same mounting specification can be easily installed.
For most models, no mounting brackets, adapters, or similar components are required. The actuators and further accessories are securely held by the four fixation points.
