Modular building block system
One ball valve system – countless possibilities.
Whether manually operated with threaded connections on both sides, or automatable with stem extensions and two different connection ends: everything is possible with this modular building block system.
Especially regarding sealing technology, no other type of ball valve is as versatile in its application.
DIN - Face-to-face lengths
All ball valves in this series have a standardized face-to-face length (ETE) according to the standards:
- DIN EN 16722 M3 (current)
- DIN 3202 M3 (old)
This offers enormous advantages during the planning phase, pre-assembly, or when replacing units in the event of damage.
Inline Service
Due to the design, replacing seals or spare parts while the valve is installed is straightforward. Only one tie bolt needs to be loosened, and all others removed.
This allows the center section, including all wear parts, to be simply swung out. During reassembly, the edges of the body and ball seals must be positioned carefully before swinging the center section back into place. Tighten the tie bolts – and you're done.
EPI product continuity
The ball valves in this product series are all based on the same system, which has been continuously developed and expanded over the years.
As a result, even on the oldest EPI ball valves of this series, the center sections, connection ends, or replacement seals can be exchanged for components from current production batches.
Locking device (Optional)
Hand levers with an integrated locking option are also optionally available for this series.
The switching position is engaged via a movable tab and can be additionally secured with a bolt, padlock, or similar by using the eyelet. To change the switching position, the tab must be pulled upwards.
